Xavier Bettel, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, is currently on a working visit to Israel and Palestine.

On 5 January 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, made a working visit to Berlin, where he was received by his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock.

Statement of the Benelux countries: Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg condemn Russia’s decision to withdraw from the landmark Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE), a cornerstone of Europe’s security architecture.
