Development cooperation: government policy and key measures
Since 1980, the development cooperation policy has been one of the central tenets of Luxembourg's foreign policy. Based on targeted partnerships and underpinned by the key principles of reliability, commitment and expertise, the policy is geared towards the eradication of poverty, especially in the least developed countries, and is consistent with the goal of sustainable development.
3-4 June 2015 Luxembourg will organise a debate during the European Development Days “90-90-90 an ambitious treatment target to help end the AIDS epidemic”
In view of the upcoming Presidency of the European Union, the European Year for Development and Luxembourg’s key role in UNAIDS’ 90-90-90 treatment target, the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs is organising a lab debate at the European Development Days.
