The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and more specifically the Directorate of international economic relations, is responsible for the general coordination of restrictive economic and financial measures decreed by the United Nations Security Council and the European Union (EU). They collaborate with other national institutions responsible for the implementation of restrictive measures within the framework of inter-ministerial committees.
