Office for passports, visas and legalisations: Service upon appointment only from December 28, 2020 to January 8, 2021

In the framework of additional measures adopted by the Government on December 21^st, 2020 in order to slow down the pandemic of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the Office for passports, visas and legalisations (OPVL) is compelled to modify its modus operandi to a service upon appointment only for the timeframe of Monday, December 28^th, 2020 to Friday, January 8^th, 2021.

Passports

All passport retrievals and applications for new passports will be handled exclusively by appointment, which can be applied for at :

Visas

All retrievals and deposits of documents will be handled exclusively by appointment, which can be applied for at :
http://guichet.lu/rdv-visa-fr

Legalisations / Apostilles

All deposits of documents will be done exclusively through the online procedure available at :  https://guichet.public.lu/fr/citoyens/citoyennete/certificat-casier-judiciaire/certificat-copie/legalisation-actes.html

The drop-off of the pre-registered documents can be done either through a courier service or directly in the mail box installed in the waiting room of the OPVL.

The retrieval of documents can be done :

• For courier services : through their deposit boxes in the waiting room of the OPVL
• For individuals or other companies : exclusively upon appointment which can be applied for by email at : rendezvous.legalisation@mae.etat.lu
