Luxembourg's humanitarian aid for Turkey: Second batch of emergency equipment sent to the disaster area

As part of Luxembourg's humanitarian response to the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, a second shipment of emergency aid was sent to Turkey this morning. This operation, coordinated by the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE), is Luxembourg's response to a request from the Turkish government for aid in kind for the affected population. As a reminder, the departure of a first flight with emergency material donations took place on 22 February.

The donations were transported by two charter flights operated by the national cargo carrier Cargolux and co-funded by the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid and the European Union.
